This is going to be a CRAZY week. For starters, my computer(s) are still a little goofy, my Droid phone still in the sewer, my DLSR camera needs some repairs, I have three stacks of business cards that Im supposed to email, and a law firm wants me to work part time.
On Monday I have a Photo gig with the Capitol Archaeological Institute, which is awesome because I was an Anthropology major in undergrad and also because Im getting paid. On Tuesday and Wednesday I have meetings on Capitol Hill and will likely begin major outreach to the Senate which is a situation in and of itself. On Thursday, I’m giving a guest lecture at my Alma Mater Goucher College, talking about social change with my friend and colleague, labor journalist Mike Elk (twitter @MikeElk).
Supposing I do all of these things, I will go to a blowout party on Friday, BYT Presents: A Night at the Newseum II: Way Out Of Line. I will photograph it if I have a camera but I can’t even say that for sure. Then on Saturday, I have photographs in an art show/house party Oh Snap!: The VESTIBULE photography show + launch. http://www.vestibuledc.com/
